About OPMA

The Overseas Press and Media Association can trace its lineage back to 1927 when Dominion Newspapers was formed. Then, as now, the aim was to provide the advertising community with a trusted supply of information concerning overseas advertising representation. Through the years Dominion Newspapers changed to reflect the times and via The London Association of British Empire Newspapers Overseas, The London Association of Commonwealth Newspapers Overseas, OPMA came into being in 1965. The Association is served by a number of volunteers who give their time freely to promote and protect the interests of the community we serve.
