Debbie Smith - Marketing Consultant, White Panda Marketing Consultancy

Debbie is the Founder of White Panda, a digital first agency that prides itself on delivering high level expertise through a tech agnostic lens.  Planning and buying multinational campaigns from the data layer up, WP's clients range from tier 1 blue chip brands, to SME challengers.  With over a decade of experience in digital marketing, both agency and client side, Debbie specialises in the digital space, applying a holistic approach to data and strategy that increases our clients competitive edge, maximising growth and engagement rates.

Jane Bainbridge Editor of and Impact Magazine

Jane Bainbridge has been editor of the Market Research Society’s Impact magazine and Research Live website for the past four years. Previously she was also deputy editor of Marketing magazine.Jane also worked as a freelance journalist, copywriter and trainer for 10 years. She wrote for business magazines, national newspapers and online news websites about business, marketing, branding and advertising; she wrote corporate communications for advertising and media agencies; trained lawyers to write plain English; and gave spokespeople media training.

Nigel Roth – Managing Director, On Device Research

Nigel has more than 25 years of ad research experience, on client, research, and ad agency sides in the UK and the US, with his work contributing to many award-winning campaigns. Prior to joining On Device Research, he was SVP/Head of Communication Development Research at Ipsos, and Managing Director at CRM Metrix (now MetrixLab). Nigel studied semiology at UCL and archaeology at Birkbeck UOL.

Paul Mikhailoff - VP Sales, Green park Content

Paul is the VP of Sales at Green Park Content who recognise that marketers have never been more disconnected from their audiences. GPC are a global brand publishing specialist who works with progressive marketers to take back control of their budgets and reclaim customer relationships. GPC does this by creating content that is optimised for discovery and distribution, balancing the need of the user and brand to create meaningful engagement. Paul has worked with publishers all of his career including the FT, Forbes and Bloomberg.

Ben Phillips - Global Head of Mobile, MediaCom

As more and more digital campaigns expand into mobile, Ben works with our teams to deliver the full benefits and the latest knowledge to our clients. Ben joined MediaCom in 2013, bringing more than a decade's experience of the mobile industry and providing additional leadership for our specialist mobile divisions in markets such as the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, Singapore, and India. His goal is to ensure that this level of expertise and creativity is available to all MediaCom clients, wherever they are and whoever they are targeting.

Charles Yardley - SVP Managing Director, Forbes

Charles Yardley re-joined Forbes Media in June 2017, as SVP Managing Director, Europe. Prior to June Charles was the Chief Operating Officer at City A.M., a daily business news organization that included City A.M Newspaper, Magazines, Digital properties and Events. Previously Charles was Managing Director International and Publisher of Forbes Life at Forbes Media based in London/New York.  He was responsible for running the commercial/advertising operations across all media platforms, introducing marketers to the Company’s new and highly innovative advertising products in the marketplace. Mr. Yardley also held the position of Sales Director EMEA/APAC Digital Advertising Sales for Forbes Media, responsible for leading the international sales team in their online sales efforts as well leading the region in their integrated sales efforts. Mr. Yardley has held sales positions at Financial Times Business. He began his career as a media sales executive in 1996. 

Richard Nicolson - Head of Demand, EMEA, Index Exchange

Richard oversees the development of the buy-side relationships throughout EMEA.  In his capacity as Head of Demand, EMEA, he is responsible for relationships with agencies, trading desks, and demand side platforms.  Prior to joining Index, Richard helped found and build out the programmatic team at Essence Digital, with a focus on developing Google’s programmatic strategy.  He holds law degrees from Glasgow University and Nottingham Trent University.

Michele Reale - Head of Media, Twogether - B2B Marketing Communications Agency of the Year 2017/2018.

Twogether’s clients range from Tier 1 B2B technology brands to start up challengers and everything in between. Michele has spent the last 12 years agency side, with Dentsu first and more recently with Twogether where he has launched the media division, planning and buying international multimedia campaigns for global b2b brands (Fujitsu, Workday, KPMG, McAfee, Verisign, Polycom, etc).

Simon Betts - Director UK & USA, RTL AdConnect

Simon has over 25 years experience working in the UK TV market as a media owner having worked at ITV and Channel 5. More recently after moving in to the International field, Simon now heads up the London office of RTL ( the largest Media Group in Europe) The role involves simplifying the European market for Advertisers and Agencies based in the UK and USA. With the evolving media market RTL is shifting from a traditional broadcaster to a provider of premium Video content working in the broadcaster space but also YouTube.    

James Duffy - Head of Media Futures, Total Media

James has 10+ years agency experience working across a range of clients and sectors including Travel, Real Estate, Finance, Retail and many more.  He started life in search quickly broadening his experience across the full range of digital channels and leading teams to deliver digital excellence.  In 2014 he joined Total Media as Head of Digital and now leads the Media Futures team to help clients navigate their way through the constantly changing media environment.
